Dear Devotee/Friend,

As a part of our service activities we, Ramakrishna Math, Ulsoor, Bangalore, are conducting Rural Educational Service Activities for the past 10 years.  By the Grace of the Lord, in this academic year also (2013-14), our Ashrama has distributed Notebooks, Dictionary, Stationeries and other study materials to rural school children who are studying in the Government Primary & High Schools.

Distribution started on 17^th June 2013 and ended on 12^th July 2013. About 30 Volunteers assisted us on various dates. Children were taught prayers, general hygiene and were introduced to teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

More than 16,392 students, studying in 203 Selected Govt. Schools, situated at (remote/backward) 177 villages from 6 Taluks (Pawgada, Malur, Madhugiri, Gauribidanoor, Hosakote, Kanakapura) in Karnataka State, India are benefited by this project.

While conveying our heartfelt thanks, we pray to the Lord to bless all the donors and volunteers for participating in this noble service to the underprivileged children.

Dear Sir / Madam,

We are happy to inform you that we are conducting “Inter School Cultural Competitions 2012 ” for the school children from __ Saturday, 18^th August,2012 to Sunday,_9^th September, 2012, The details, rules and schedule of the competitions are attached along with the ‘Registration Form’.

We request you to kindly encourage and send as many children as possible from your esteemed School, to participate enthusiastically, in order to find out their hidden excellences in these fields.

 A special award will be given to:

1. The school getting maximum points depending upon the number and rank    of prizes won by its students;

2. The School from which the maximum candidates participate.

Last date for registration:

For All Competitions   : 14^th Aug 2012

This is for your kind information that, as part of our Educational Service Activities in the Rural Areas, for the Past 8 years our Ashrama provides Notebooks, Stationeries and other study materials to school children who are studying in the Government Primary and High Schools.

In the approaching Academic Year 2012-13, we are planning to serve about 15,000 students, studying in 130 Selected Govt. Schools situated at (remote/backward) villages from Pawgada Tk. Madhugiri Tk., Chintamani Tk., Kolar Tk., Kanakapura Tk.

No of beneficiaries: 15,000 students from 130 villages.

The estimated expenditure for this service activity is about Rs. 18, 20, 000/-

We are cordially inviting you to participate in this noble service by sponsoring this expenditure.

All donations are exempted from Income Tax under section 80 (G) of Income Tax Act 1961.

Also we request you to circulate this appeal among your relatives, colleagues and friends and help us in this noble cause.
