In order to introduce our Indian Culture and Moral Values to the school children, every year we conducting Inter<\/strong> School<\/strong> Cultural Competitions.<\/strong><\/p>\n \n This year, the following competitions were held between 21stAugust, 2010 to 18th<\/sup> September, 2010 <\/span><\/span><\/strong>for the children from L.K.G. to X Standard<\/strong>:<\/p>\n \n 1. Srimat Bhagavad Gita Chanting<\/strong> \u2013 7th<\/sup> Chapter for Primary School students <\/span>and 9th <\/sup>Chapter for High School students.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n 2. Painting Competition<\/strong>: The topics were \u201cSaints of India\u201d for Primary School and \u201cMera Bharat Mahan (Glory of the Great India)\u201d for High School. <\/span><\/p>\n \n 3. Essay Writing<\/strong>: for on the topic \u201cThe life is short, The world is transient, They alone live who live for others\u201d- a saying of Swami Vivekananda.<\/p>\n \n 4. Elocution Competition<\/strong>: For High School students \u2013 \u201cIf I were a parent, how would I grow my children?\u201d and for Primary School students \u2013 \u201cWhy should I not tell lie?\u201d<\/p>\n \n 5. Quiz Competition<\/strong>: This consisted of 6 rounds of questions culled from the Ramayana, the Mahabharata. <\/span><\/p>\n \n 6. Fancy Dress<\/strong> for L.K.G. UKG and First standard students had \u201cAnimals and birds\u201d as the theme and from 2nd<\/sup> standard .to 4th<\/sup> Standard children had \u201cGreat personalities from the history of India\u201d<\/p>\n \n In all 1150<\/strong> students from 22 schools registered their names and among them 552 took part in the competition<\/strong>. A total of 62 prizes<\/strong> along with certificates are being awarded to the winners.
