Dear Devotees<\/p>\n

On 10th and 11th June 2015, free distribution of stationery items was launched<\/p>\n

this year in the Madugiri Taluk of Tumkur District of Karnataka. 3734 students<\/p>\n

of class 1 to 12 studying in 41 Government run schools and colleges were<\/p>\n

benefited. Though the State Government provides dress, text books and free<\/p>\n

noon-meals to the students, the need of stationery items like note books, pen,<\/p>\n

pencil, eraser, sharpener and geometry box was not met with. Hence,<\/p>\n

Ramakrishna Math, Ulsoor, Bangalore has stepped in and has taken up this<\/p>\n

project. A total of 7468 nos. of 100 pages small size note books, 14,936 nos. of<\/p>\n

200 pages small size note books, 11,202 nos. of long size note books, 3638 sets<\/p>\n

of pencils, erasers and sharpeners and 352 geometry boxes were distributed.<\/p>\n

On 15th and 16th June 2015, the service was extended to Gouribidanur taluk of<\/p>\n

Chikkballapur Dt. of Karnataka state. Here 5012 students of class 1 to 12<\/p>\n

studying in 25 Government run schools and college were benefited. A total<\/p>\n

of 2468 nos. of 100 pages small size note books, 11,936 nos. of 200 pages small<\/p>\n

size note books, 4502 nos. of long size note books, 1638 pencils, 1578 erasers,<\/p>\n

3789 sets of pencils, erasers and sharpeners and 352 geometry boxes were<\/p>\n

distributed.<\/p>\n

On 29th and 30th June 2015, the distribution of stationery items will be taken up<\/p>\n

in Pavagada Taluk of Tumkur District of Karnataka. Nearly 6738 students of 38<\/p>\n

Government run schools and colleges will get benefited.<\/p>\n

The total cost of the above service has amounted to Rs.16,35,157\/-<\/p>\n
