Cultural Competions 2008: Successfully finished

Report of the Inter-School Cultural Competitions 2008



The Inter-School Cultural Competitions 2008 conducted by our Math during August –

September 2008 has come to the conclusion The prize distribution function was held on

Sunday, 14th September, 2008 at 10.00 a.m.  Sri Sivasailam, IAS, Managing Director,

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., presided over the function and distributed the

prizes to the children.


In all 508 students from 15 schools took part in the competition. A total of 77 prizes

along with certificates are being awarded to the winners. This includes 15 first prizes; 18

second prizes; 19 third prizes; and 25 consolation prizes. Books like, Swami Vivekananda – His call to the nation, Inspiring Lives and Great Sayings were given to all the participants along with the participation certificate.


We are confident that these cultural activities will inspire the children to know more and more about our glorious culture, help them in building their character and to grow as a responsible citizens of our Mother land.


We are thankful to all the institution heads, teachers, parents and students for taking part and made the event as a success.

Inter School Cultural Competitions- 9th August 2008 to 14th September 2008

Dear Sir / Madam,

We are happy to inform you that we are conducting “Inter School Cultural Competitions” for the school children from Saturday, 9th August, 2008 to Sunday 14th September, 2008.

The details, rules and schedule of the competitions are attached along with the ‘Registration Format’.

We request you to kindly encourage and send as many children as possible from your esteemed School, to participate enthusiastically, in order to find out their hidden excellences in these fields.

A special award will be given to:

1. The school getting maximum points depending upon the number and rank of prizes won by its students;

2. The School from which the maximum candidates participate.

Last date for registration:

For All Competitions : 4th August, 2008

Kindly send the Registration forms which are duly filled along with the fees before the above mentioned date.
