Adoption & Construction of a Government Primary School in Gullattikava village

In order to motivate the students studying in Govt. Primary and High Schools in rural areas, the Ashrama, for the past 7 years, is running Coaching Centers in 19 villages of Kanakapura Taluq, Bangalore Rural District.
Among such villages, there is a village named Gullattikaval, about 30 kms. from Bangalore situated in the Bannaragatta Forest Range in kankapura Tk. This village has only one Govt. Primary School, catering to needs of nearly 70 children, which was in dilapidated condition, since it was constructed 65 years ago.
In order to fulfill the educational need of children of this village, our Ashrama has adopted this Government Primary School, started reconstruction work. The New School Building was constructed within 6 months period and inaugurated on March 1st 2009. The Project cost was Rs.5.5 lakhs.
While expressing our heartfelt thanks to the donors, we request all to support and sponsor such endeavors of giving education to our unprivileged little ones.
